- Power Operated Doors at City Hall Temporarily Out of Service
Please be advised that the power operated doors at the front entrance are temporarily out of service. The City is working on resolving this matter and apologizes for any inconvenience.
- City of Quinte West Offices Closed for Family Day
PLEASE NOTE: City of Quinte West Offices will be closed on Monday, February 15th, 2010 for Family Day and will reopen on Tuesday, February 16th at 8:30 a.m.
If you need to report a road condition problem, a malfunctioning traffic control signal or a sewer or water main problem which requires immediate assistance please call 613-392-2841 and press "1" or say "reporting".

- Construction of Honour Memorial
A committee has been formed to initiate a project to construct a memorial in honour of those Canadians who made the supreme sacrifice during the war in Afghanistan. Click here for more information.
- Free Public Skate
The City of Quinte West is offering a Free Public Skate on Sunday February 21st 2010 in Trenton and Frankford. The Free skate will take place from 1:30-3:00pm at the Duncan MacDonald Community Gardens and from 2:00pm-3:30 at the Frankford Arena.
- Trenton Public Transit Not Running on Holiday
Trenton Public Transit will not run on Monday, February 15, 2010 for Family Day. Regular service resumes Tuesday February 16, 2010 at 6:00 am. For Further information: Laura Rickards (613) 392-9640
- Rescheduled Council Meetings
Please be advised that the Monday March 1st and 15th, 2010 Council meetings are RESCHEDULED to Monday March 8th and 22nd, 2010 at 6:00 p.m.
- PRISM-911 Verification Process to Start
The City’s PRISM Program will be launching its second annual PRISM Verification Process on February 1, 2010. The City Emergency Notification System (PRISM-911) will automatically be calling everyone in its database (over 15,000 contact numbers) to verify that its information is correct. The City of Quinte West has joined forces with the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation and will be hosting a Half Marathon in support of the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation (TMHF) on Sunday April
25th 2010 in Centennial

- Premier-Ranked Tourist Destinations Framework
The City of Belleville jointly with The City of Quinte West and in partnership with Hastings County has launched the Premier-Ranked Tourist Destination Project to help distinguish ourselves in the tourism marketplace. This project has been highly successful in helping other countries/cities develop strategic plans for tourism development.
Completing the survey will help:
• Provide a solid foundation on which to grow our existing tourist attractions
• Develop opportunities and capture investment for tourism infrastructure and growth

- Quinte West Youth Advisory Council Update
The Quinte West Youth Advisory Council is currently in the planning stages for advertising National Youth Week and furthering their role as a youth connection to City Council. Click here for more information.
