About Us

Quinte West has been your host city for two previous Firefit regional events in 2004 and 2006. Because both were such a sizzling success, our city was chosen to host their first ever international event in Canada.

We can't wait to show the world what Quinte West has to offer. We're so excited that we've decided to waive all entry fees. That means admission to the park is FREE because we're committed to ensuring that you and your family are here to cheer on your favourite team throughout the competition and enjoy all the activities surrounding it.

We've got something for everyone. There will be a wide variety of vendors, displays, demonstrations, delicious food, cool refreshments, and live entertainment. Not to mention our autograph tent where you'll be able to hang out with your favourite firefighters and have them sign all those nifty hats and t-shirts available on our merchandise page.

Together with the Scottish / Irish Festival, we've packed the park and we don't want you to miss a thing. All events will be staged within a close proximity to keep you in the heart of the action.

Also, on September 11th, we will be paying tribute to our many heroes with a very special opening ceremony that we hope everyone can attend.
