Quinte Economic Development Commission

The Quinte Economic Development Commission is a regional economic development office representing the City of Quinte West, the City of Belleville and the Municipality of Brighton. The QEDC is committed to supporting existing companies in our community, as well as to marketing and promotion of our community on behalf of our member municipalities to attract new companies to the region. Trenval Business Development Corporation

Trenval Business Development Corporation has been assisting small businesses in the region since 1987, investing more than $13 million in small businesses. Loyalist Training and Knowledge Centre

The Loyalist Training and Knowledge Centre is the entrepreneurial professional training arm of Loyalist College established in the early 1990s. It has gained a reputation as one of the most respected training and development centres in Ontario. Small Business Centre

The Small Business Centre provides valuable resources, tools and no-cost consultations to assist entrepreneurs in starting up their own businesses and also assists businesses that have been in operation for less than five years. Human Resources and Skills Development Canada

Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC) administers federal government employment programs and operates local employment centres. The Quinte West Office located at 50 Dundas Street West provides employment services, labour market information, grants and contribution programs for employers and employment benefits services. Visit the HRSDC website for more information.

Job Connect

Job Connect provides assistance to youth 16 to 24 to find employment opportunities while helping employers reduce costs associated with training a new employee. Quinte Manufacturers Association

The voice of the residential construction industry in the Quinte area, the Quinte Home Builders Association is a great organization with dedicated hard-working individuals helping to promote the professionalism of its members to the community.
