Graffiti

Graffiti is vandalism, not art. And it's a crime.

Graffiti is any writing, drawings, or symbols that are spray painted or handwritten on building walls, dwelling units, or structures without the consent of the property owner.  This is prohibited under By-law 09-46.

If you see graffiti on public or private property in the City of Quinte West, report the location or address to our Graffiti Hotline at (613) 392-2841, ext. 4547 or via the online reporting form.

The sale of spray paint, broad-tipped marker pens, paint pens, and glass cutting tools and glass etching tools or instruments is prohibited to individuals under the age of 18 in accordance with By-law 09-45.
