Delegations
If you would like to appear as a delegation at a City Council or Committee meeting, you must:
- submit a completed Delegation Request form
- clearly state the topic of discussion
- include written text of your presentation (and any background information)
- include your contact information (name, phone/fax/email address)
PLEASE NOTE:
- Letters addressed to City Council or Standing Committees are placed on a public agenda which is distributed to Council members, various City staff, and the media. Council and Standing Committeee agendas are available to the public at City Hall and on the City's website.
- Agendas on the City's website are located under "Minutes and Agendas"
- Any personal information you choose to disclose in your letter will become part of the public record. It is the City's practice to publish your name on the Internet.
Deadline for Delegation Requests: 12 noon, one week before the meeting date.
When your Delegation Request is received, you will be notified by a City staff member of the time and date of your presentation. If you have not received confirmation within 48 hours following submission of a request, please Contact Us.
There is a limit of 5 delegations per meeting and a time limit of 10 minutes per delegation.
