Historic Buildings
Although Trenton incorporated as a Village in 1853, it took eight years before a Town Hall was constructed. In 1983, the building was designated as a heritage structure. The building has since been restored and is home to the Trenton Downtown Business Improvement Area.

The clock tower is all that remains of the stately post office built in 1888. The attention to detail evident on the tower in the raised bands and masonry was mirrored on the post office. In 1979, Trenton Council designated the Clock Tower as a heritage property under the Ontario Heritage Act for architectural and historic reasons. The Clock Tower is a popular landmark in the downtown core.
