Dog Licenses
Dog licenses for the City of Quinte West are available at City Hall and the Frankford Ward Municipal Office.
The City By-law, as amended, provides that every owner of a dog within the limits of the City of Quinte West shall procure annually, and, by the 1st day of July in each year, a license for each dog owned. The City By-law further states that no person shall harbour more than three (3) dogs in an urban area, and no more than five (5) dogs in a rural area, as per Schedule B to the by-law.
A fee of $15.00 per dog is applicable if the licence is purchased by mail or in person at a Municipal Office before July 1st of each year.
NOTE REFUSAL TO PURCHASE A DOG LICENSE MAY RESULT IN A PENALTY OF $50.00.

If you wish to request your dog license(s) by mail, please click on the link below, complete the information for each dog owned, print and enclose with your payment. (DO NOT SEND CASH BY MAIL). A license/tag and receipt will be issued and mailed to you at the mailing address you have indicated on the application form.
