The total parkland throughout Quinte West is estimated at 389 Acres which includes 52 Parks, 60 Flower Beds, 14 Trails, Play Structures, a Tourist Park, 4 Cemeteries, 17 Ball Diamonds, 12 School Facilities, 16 Soccer Pitches and 9 Tennis Courts.

Quinte West Parks Rules and Regulations

To help ensure the safety and pleasure of all park users, the City of Quinte West requests that you abide by the following rules and regulations:

  • All posted signs must be obeyed
  • Motorized vehicles are prohibited except for designated areas
  • Possession or use of alcohol is strictly prohibited unless authorized by the City
  • Vandalism to City property will not be tolerated
  • Animals or pets must be controlled
  • A poop-and-scoop policy is enforced
  • Hitting of golf balls is prohibited
  • No littering or dumping of garbage

Failure to obey these regulations can result in a maximum fine of $5000.

Please help us keep our parks safe, report any damage or problems as soon as possible.

Memorial & Sponsorship Park Program

In a number of Quinte West parks and along the trails there is a need for benches, picnic tables, trees, light standards and garbage containers. If you would like to make a donation and be recognized by an identification plaque, please contact Tim Bucknell, Manager of Parks and Operations at 613-392-2841.

 

Community Dog Park

Quinte West's Hanna Park (corner of Creswell Drive at Film Street on the west side of Trenton) is home to a volunteer-drive, two-acre fenced Trenton Kinsmen Community Dog Park. Access to the dog park is free though donations toward its upkeep are gratefully accepted. Click here for more information.
