Programs, such as daycamps, fitness and dance classes, special events and festivals, community activities, liaison with agencies, volunteer development and community information are some of the services offered throughout Quinte West. These City programs are outlined in our Department's Seasonal Brochures. Community & Leisure Services is preparing to offer a variety of fun and exciting programs this year and we are seeking your ideas. If you have any suggestions for cool and creative programs that you would like offered, please give us a call. If you can teach a program, craft, sport or instrument and have an hour or two to devote each week, call 613-392-2841 x 4416.

Youth Advisory Council
At the October 19th, 2009 Meeting of Council, Youth Liaison Officer Joseph Murphy spoke to Council about instituting a Youth Advisory Council for the City of Quinte West. Council voted in favour of starting up the group, who will have their first information session and meeting on Wednesday, October 21st @ 3:30pm at City Hall. Any youth residents of Quinte West who have suggestions or issues they wish to have addressed, please contact Joseph Murphy at 613.392.2841,
Ext. 4488 or at josephm@city.quintewest.on.ca. The goal of an official youth organization is to give youth a voice and create a connection between leaders of today and leaders of tomorrow. More information to follow.
