AGRICULTURAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE
In November, 2004 the City of Quinte West Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) recommended to Council to establish a new Agricultural Advisory Committee (AAC). This recommendation was passed by Council in December, 2004 and the City created a Committee consisting of Council members, representatives from the Hastings Ontario Federation of Agriculture, the Northumberland Ontario Federation of Agriculture, the Quinte Christian Farmers Association as well as Public
members.
The AAC is recognized by Council and Staff as an excellent resource in the development and review of Planning Policy in the City. The City also feels it is essential to continue a strong working relationship with the Agricultural community which is a cornerstone for a progressive municipality. The AAC encourages the public to follow this new committee and contact City
Staff if there is an issue you want to discuss with the AAC.
